Accessibility statement
SpainINT is committed to making www.spainint.es/en/ accessible in accordance with Spain’s Royal Decree 1112/2018 of 7 September on the accessibility of public-sector websites and mobile applications.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with Royal Decree 1112/2018 because of the non-compliances described below.
Content that is not fully accessible
Despite our ongoing work, some parts of the website may still present accessibility limitations:
- Some images may not yet have sufficiently descriptive alternative text (WCAG 1.1.1).
- Some pages may contain an imperfect heading structure or unnecessary ARIA attributes (WCAG 1.3.1).
- Some colour combinations may not reach the required minimum contrast ratio (WCAG 1.4.3).
- Some links may not make their purpose sufficiently clear from the link text alone (WCAG 2.4.4).
- Some form controls or page sections may be missing an appropriate label or instruction (WCAG 3.3.2).
No content is excluded on the grounds of disproportionate burden.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 14 April 2026 following a self-assessment and was last reviewed on 8 August 2026.
The website relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS and JavaScript. Testing includes automated checks based on WCAG 2.1, together with manual checks of keyboard focus, zoom, large text, responsive layouts and colour contrast.
